Can't install some programs

I tried to install\use TweakUAC and Vista came back with the following:

Windows Cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have
the appropriate permissions to access the item.



I right-mouse click and 'Run as Admin' is grayed out. How do I install it?
(My account is admin)



I tried to install Daemon Tools

Set file has invalid name. Make sure the distribution files were not
renamed.

There's no option to continue anyway, just the OK button. I rename
everything I download. How do I disable this?

Tried turning off UAC and enabled "Do not preserve zone info in file
attachments" in gpedit, to disable the "block file protection". Same
messages reappeared when I tried to re-install. What else do I need to turn
off so the OS never asks me about anything or blocks my attempts to do
something? I don't care if it compromises security; I have other software to
pick up the slack.

something a lot of us don't know or understand ( myself included until a
week ago), that although our acct. might be listed as admin., in reality we
are not. The real McCoy is the Built-in Real Administrator pulling the
strings. The following is how to Enable the Real Admin. so that you can use
it to do the work that your acct. can't. : ---
1.) open Start menu, type cmd on the Search box.
2. ) cmd program will show up at the top of the panel. Right click that, and
then click Run As ADministrator
3.) click Continue. A black and white window will appear, and you'll see a
prompt
4.) type net_user_administrator_/actine:yes ( note the spacing
btweween words )
5.) press Enter key. The B/W screen will tell you if your request is
successful or not. If not, retype and careful with the spacing, and no
capital letters ( not sure if it is case sensitive or not ).
6.) if yes, close the b/w window.
7.) go to Start menu, logoff. You'll see an Administrator acct. next to
yours and other user accts.( if any ). Click that Admin. acct. The system
will start setting up the desktop for the Real Admin. When that is done, you
can use it to the job you couldn't do before. You will want to create a
password for the Boss, because he can do Anything.
8.) if you get jealous and want to get rid of it, just repeat the steps 1 -
7. Except at step 4, type active:no instead of active:yes.

To make a long story short, you and I may have the admin.account, the real
McCoy pulling the strings is the Built-in Real Administrator. That is why
sometimes we were told we didn't have the previleges to go on. Here is how
to Enable the built-in Administrator to do the job for you : --
1. Open Start menu, type cmd on the Search box.
2. the cmd program will appear at the top of the panel, Right click that
3. click Run As Administrator, then click Continue. A black & white window
will appear, a prompt flashing inside
4. type net_user_administrator_/active:yes ( notice the spacings between
words, but no spacing after " / " )
5. press Enter key. The screen will tell you if the command is successful
or not. If not , re-type and watch for the spacing and no capital letters.
6. if yes, close the window. Go to Start menu and logoff.
7. you'll see an admin.acct. next to yours and other user acct.( if any ).
8. click on the admin.acct. The system will start setting up the desktop for
the new acct. When it's done, you can use it to do what you couldn't do
before.
9. if you get jealous and want to get rid of it, repeat step1 to 6, except
that in step#4, type active:no instead of active:yes.
