Blue screens are almost invariably caused by some hardware or driver issue.
The first thing to check is manufacturer websites of the various hardware
you have both internal and external, graphics card, soundcard, printers as
well as any software that are specific to these devices or installed with
the drivers to make sure they are up to date and the latest Vista compatible
drivers and software.

If all such drivers and software are the latest Vista compatible, it's
possible it's possible something is hanging the system on shutdown, refusing
to release but the information you posted doesn't point to anything
specific. Under such circumstances, your option is process of elimination.
Again, I'd start with hardware, turning off, disconnecting external devices
one by one and uninstalling their software. Then, try duplicating the issue
to see if it occurs until you find the device after whose removal the
problem stops. NOTE: this can apply even if the device drivers and software
are up to date, they may still be misbehaving and if you find such a
situation, you need to contact the manufacturer thought, it may be a
conflict with something else or hardware or software on your
system...another process of elimination.
