Default Beep(1000,1000) doesn't work - Vista Service

Why C++ Beep( 1000, 1000 ) doesn't work when running the Service at Vista?
The Service beeps OK at XP, etc. but at Vista it returns "0x000006BA: The
RPC server is unavailable".

Should I do something special at Vista to be able to run the Service with
the Beep().
Thx
Antonin
