I know that a complete system backup is not a function of home premium. If
automatic file backup is not a function then why does the system allow you to
set up a scheduled backup. I have done a manual backup and created a shadow
copy without any problems.

Hi,
The function of a fulle back is working fine in Premium, and if one don't
change the settings than an incremental back-up is executed.
Restoring on olderfiles is working perfectly.

Restart your computer and try again.

Have a look at this thread;

OK I do not use sleep mode as (was mentioned in that thread). I always use
shutdown. I have just completed a manual backup again without any problems so
I will wait now for the next scheduled backup 01/02/2008 and see what happens.
Thans to all who replied. I will let you know what happens.

Cheers
