HIS X1550 PCI has 256mb onboard mem, is Vista certified, compared to my
GeForce 5200 (?) which only has 128mb and is my Windows Experience weaklink,
so thinking of upgrading.
Thoughts? Concerns? And Vista WILL let me unplug old, plug in new video card
without going thru re-validation experiences, right?
Change any hardware and you run the risk of re-activiation, i only graded
ram and i had to re activiate
Thanks
Mark

I swapped a pair of 7900GTXs for an 8800GTX with no need to reactivate.
Also HIS make good cards. Especially good cooling solutions on them.

I upgraded my ram from 1g to 2g and didn't have to reactivate.
I changed video cards and did not have to re-activate.
