Default Accessing shared folder on windows 95 from Windows Vista Home Basi

Hi all,

There's a problem an accessing shared folders on windows 95 or windows 98
with Windows Vista Home Basic. If shared folder has a password (read
only/full access password) then accessing to that folder from a Windows Vista
Home Basic machine asking username and password. In Windows 95 or 98 only
password to define (username cannot definable)

From Windows XP machine accessing that folder,
username: Windows95MachineName\Guest (not editable)
password: whateverpassword
there's not a problem about accessing but same thing cannot be applicable
for Windows Vista Home Basic..

Can anyone help me?
(Sorry about bad english)

Hmmm windows 95... its been a long time.
I remember when I was networking them with XP, I had to add IPX network
protocol on the XP machines so I could get the network to work...

This was a long time ago.. so I am not 100% sure but see this screenshot I
made for you, on how to add the IPX to XP
I assume its the same with vista.. but I am not on vista at the moment so I
can try it

Please tell me if this works for you
