I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium (32 bit), service pack 1. I
purchased Works Suite 2006 when I ordered the computer. I loaded the disc
and all worked perfect. Reciently I received 2 e-mails with attachments from
Europe of some very important documents. I could not open them. In error I
think I said yes at the wrong window and downloaded Office Word 2007. After I
opened it two times it locked up with a message of need of a license. I
don't want Office Word 2007. I want to get back to Works Suite 2006 (Word
2002) and be able to open all my old programs. As a new user, any help will
be appreciated.
Not really anything to do with Vista, you should have posted to the Works
group
Uninstall Office, clear temp files, reboot, repair the Works suite.
Visit MS.com and search for 'word compatibility pack'
With this pack you are able to view docs created in word 2007 format
