Default Windows XP Pro SP3 Repair

I currently have Windows XP Pro SP2 installed on my computer. My original
Windows XP CD also includes SP2. If I download and install SP3, will I be
able to use the repair function of my original SP2 CD if something goes wron
with SP3 ?

You've posted in a newsgroup for the Vista operating system. Next time,
please post in one of the many newsgroups for Windows XP such as
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.

To answer your question, no. You will need to slipstream SP3 into your
original SP2. This is very easily done. I use NLite.
