I am stuck, I had Windows Vista Premium on my laptop and I wanted to have
the Business version, I bought the upgrade software, but it didn't seem to
keep the regular games that are with windows, and other basic programs.

Because the Vista Business edition is, as the name implies,
targeted for businesses, the games are not installed by default. You
can add them: Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Features On or Off
> Place a check mark in Games.
You'll have to clarify what you mean by "other basic programs," though.
Vista Business certainly won't have all of the multi-media fluff, such
as Movie Maker or Media Center, which would serve no purpose in a
business environment.
