Hi
I partitioned my drive when i installed Vista but problem is both C
and D drive shows Primary drive.I think one should be Primary and
another Logical.
now Vista Ultimate is installed (Im using only one operating system )
if thr is anyway to change this or this not necessary to change
................
Not necessary. You can have up to four primary partitions on a given system.
Logicals are used in extended partitions when there are already 4 primary
partitions.

There can only be 3 Primary partitions if there is to be an
Extended partition. Only without an Extended partition can
there be 4 Primary partitions.

You would only need a logical volume if you wanted to create more than 4
volumes on the system. Logical volumes are part of extended partitions, they
are not partitions themselves.
