And you would be very surprised about that remark above with this person. I
think the above statement that you made will work in reverse on you

-----

I don't care about him. Simply put, he means nothing to me. The person
simply needs to mind his own business and stay out of my business, like I am
staying out of his business.

When I want his opinion on something, I'll ask for it, which will never
happen.

When I need God I'll talk to him, which I have done in the past when I
needed him. A Human Being putting his or her pants on one leg at a time,
like I do, with an opinion that's a dime a dozen and everyone has got one,
I don't need.

Assumptions without knowledge is sophomoric, beyond validating that 'me' doesn't have a clue.

To know that you're yesterday's behind-wipe with an opinion is all I need to
know. You'll do well to stay out of my business like I am staying out of
your business, deputy

You know where you can stick this.

You know something man, I was minding my own business, when you flew in
like you are some kind of deputy dog god. I didn't appreciate it. It's
something no Human Being, and I use that word loosely with you, would have
done. But you're too stupid and apparently don't know not to do something
like that in the manner in which you did it.

You have made an enemy today.

Hey. I appreciate this information. I have been attempting to install
Vista Home Premium and have run into a problem. I have tried doing it
from Windows XP and when it attempts to do the first restart stalls and
won't go any further. I have also tried to do a clean install, although
not from a clean HD. When I booted from the DVD it copied the files and
then stalled right there. I thought it might be the DVD so I ordered
the CDs and tried to boot from them. Same problem. Someone give me
some advice as to what to do. Oh by the way, I've run the Windows
Upgrade Advisor and it tells me that I have no systems issues that would
prevent me from installing Vista Home Premium.

Thanks

I'm jumping into this thread without benefit of seeing the original post(s),
so forgive me if this ground has already been covered...

How big is the partition that currently holds XP? For an upgrade install,
you'll need a boatload of free space available (at least 20 - 30 gig, IMO).

I currently have 2 80 GB HDs. The one that I am trying to install Vista
on has about 16.2 GB of free space. Would this really cause the Vista
install to crap out like it is?

Should I just reformat my primary HD and start from scratch?
