VISTA Installation hangs with GigaByte GA-M57SLI-S4
Hello,
my old motherboard has been replaced by a brandnew GIGABYTE
GA-M57SLI-S4.
Installation of Windows XP SP3 o.k. I reformated the disk and tried to
install Windows Vista Home Premium (32-Bit). But the installation runs
only the steps:
- Windows files copied
- Files expanded
- Functions installed
Then the System hangs, i.e. Screen is frozen, mouse is dead.
It must follow then steps
- Updates installed
- Installation completed
I repeated the installation with all reasonable BIOS-configurations.
Result is always the same: installation hangs as described above.
