Default Vista display issue

Happy Friday everyone,

I am running Vista Enterprise 32-bit with Sp1 applied to it.
The problem I am about to describe was with me brfore I applied Sp1.

There are several dialog windows that have data within them that I cannot see.

IE:
If I go to the "DPI Scaling" dialog, the window has a partial button
visiable in the lower right corner.
There isn't a scroll bar or anything that will allow me to move around witin
the window to read all of the text or see all of the buttons.

Another example was a licensing dialog that appeard when I was trying to
apply Sp1.
The dialog windows appreared, but I couldn't see the "ok" box with the
dialog.
(I had to tab to it. I knew it was there because I saw it on another Vista
box that dosen't have my problem.)

I don't know what happened, but I'm trying to get it set back so that I can
see everyting inside of every dialog window.
Make sense ?

Any idea what I have to do ?

Thanks in advance for all responses.

Right click on the Window in the task bar and select move so that you can
move the window up or down and then move it using the bar at the top of the
window.

Thanks for the reply.
Your suggestion does allow me to move the window.
But my problem is with the contents of the window.
I can't see the entire contents of the window.

IE:
If I bring up the display settings window.
I can only see a "part" of a button in the lower left corner of the window.
(Right below the something tha tread "Colors". I can't see that button in
its entirety either.)

Make sense ?

try this and see if it helps. change your screen resolution up higher
(if you can't see the ok) then just press enter. then change your DPI
Scaling back to 100. then go back and change your screen resolution back
to what it was before. hope this helps .... scrooge
