Vista 64 bit failing installation with Asus 9800GTX
Hello,
first of all my hardware configuration:
intel 8400
asus p5q deluxe
4gb kingstone
wd velociraptor
wd sata 200gb
asus 98000gtx
I had the idea to test Vista and i bought the 64 bit edition with the sp1
build in.
I can install Vista 64 bit on my computer, i can see the desktop and i can
install the drivers of my mb's cd. Navigation is ok, i can reboot, turn off
and on again.
But when i install the driver of my graphic card the system asks me to
reboot..and then the pc will stop on the boot after seeing the green Vista
loading bar, with monitor (a sony xblack 19") in stand by.
I have the latest mb bios, i tried to install with only 2gb ram installed, i
tried with both the driver from nvidia (certified) and from asus: nothing
changed.
Any ideas? Should i simply change my graphic card?
RE: Vista 64 bit failing installation with Asus 9800GTX
Try to download and install another version of drivers from Nvidia web site.
