Default Upgrade XP professional to Vista Business

I upgrated to Vista Business, when it first came out. I had a lot of
problems i.e. "Not Responding" .... etc.

I did install/upgrade properly - I think!

My question is -- When I upgrade this time again, will there be a lot of
fixes downloaded, to eliminate the problems most users had eariler?

I know I have to un-install AV, any USB devices (except mouse) and any apps
that are not likley to be compatable with Vista.

I have upgraded my memory to 2gb and my video to 512MB.

any suggesstions or advice appreciated.

Oh -- I have a lot of applications and data on my system -- THAT IS WHY I DO
NOT WANT TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL.

thx ahead

Ever see the new MAC commercial about Vista?

They are dead on. I would not call Xista an upgrade at the point. Maybe
after the first SP.
