We are having problems uninstalling Norton 360 from Vista - HP pavaillion
6000 will only operate in safe mode and when we go to uninstall it tells us
cannot perform this from safe mode and we need to open computer normally-
hard when the computer automatically opens in safe mode. It seems uninstall
is a problem in Vista as we've NEVER had this problem before. Can anyone
suggest anything? we're desparate.

Actually, your problem is the Symantec bloatware that licensed Peter
Norton's name. I understand that you can download a utility from Symantec
that will completely remove Norton. I don't know if it will work for you in
your situation, but it's worth a try.
Thnak you at this stage we will give anyhting a go!!
