Theme resets after rebooting acer fr1100

Since a while I'm the proud owner of a acer FR1100, the notebook has got
a pre-installed theme. When I'm setting another theme or want to use
dreamscene, it works perfectly. After rebooting the notebook, the
pre-installed theme returns again, obviously I don't like that. I've
also tried to delete the theme completly from the system but this is
causing a lot of problems with some drivers, so this is not a solution.

Somebody knows what to do?
