Default Stop error after installing Vista

After Vista is installed, I get the blue screen with the "IRQ not less or
equal" error. After three tries, the systems reverts back to XP. Are there
any solutions to this? THanks in advance...

Have you checked the manufacturer's of your various hardware devices, both
internal and external to make sure you have the latest drivers. If yes, are
any of those drivers still listed as in beta at the manufacturer's website?

Ultimately, to resolve this, you may have to remove devices, their drivers
and software, if any, one by one and testing to see if the problem continues
after each removal in order to isolate the problem device.
