Yes.
Office 2003 is supported in Vista.

Yes, I just did and it seems to work just fine. Make sure you download and
install all available updates. The Office 2003 setup gives you the option to
do so at the end of the install.

Works fine here (running Vista Ultimate).

You might encounter this minor problem though.

You must accept the Office End User License Agreement every time that you start an Office program:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884202

Running an Office application (during first run only) using "Run as Administrator" option should help.
