Whenever open any program, the screen saying configuring office 2003 pop up.
I tried to reinstall with "complete installtion", then later, "custom
installtion" with "run all from my computer", but nothing seem to work.
Office work fine, but eventime I open something, the error appear.
Since this method is quite dangerous, I hope you can help me on this one thing,

How do I know which drive it was in? What should I put for window? I use
Window Vista. What about going about to update the MSI. They only have update
for Window XP and before that.
I'd like to help you with your problem, but all I see here is "where are the
mvps"--how much of a problem could that be?
If you're getting erro 1719 in some context, it often means you need to
repair your MSI (Windows Installer).

How do you know what drive WHAT was in? What is IT?
What should you put for Window?
I wish I wish you could or Davy could state whoever the OP is (I have no way
of knowing since the threads are getting chopped up and scattered.
What are you trying to fix here? What is your original issue if you're the
OP? I'd like to help but reading these two posts makes it difficult to know
what the OP's original problem is.

This is the first time I saw this post. You have Office 2003 installed on
Vista. You say I think that Office *was working fine but now every time you
try to open up one of Office's programs, that you get Error 1719. If I am
wrong, correct what I thought you said.
I'm not sure why Error 1719 pops up when you try to open up Office apps,
(because usually it's seen when someone tries to add and less frequently,
remove a program) but try going through the steps in part one of this MSKB:
I know you're getting it in a different context than the title of the MSKB,
but I'd still try part one here.

After running the first part of the MSKB we have given you, I would also
(having made sure you set a restore point and additionally it would be
recommended to backup--not because any of these are in the least "dangerous"
but because it's good practice:
1) I'd run Office Diagnostics
2) If necessary and it doesn't fix your Office problem, I'd download and use
the WICU (Windows Installer Cleanup Utility) google it--it's download is at
the bottom of the MSKB on it and after selecting every entry on it's
interface that connects with Office, I'd uninstall it and reinstall it.

Since you have Office 2003 you can run Detect and Repair after you do the
steps in the first part of the Error 1719 MSKB, the download the Win
Installer Cleanup Utility and use it, and then uninstall Office 2003 and
reinstall it if Detect and Repair hasn't fixed it.

I can install Office 2003 and it work fine. But whenever I open a program,
any program, it says window configuring. When the error screen 1719 pop, it
says..."Window Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the
Window Installer is not correctly installed".
I uninstalled a program earlier which I though was a spyware, but actually,
I believe, is an MSI. I check my event log, it show I have a lot of MSI
error.
So, I believe the nessecary should be reinstalled MSI. I check for MSI on my
computer already; I cannot find it location.

I understand. What this error indicates is that somehow your MSI has been
corrupted. I doubt you "uninstalled the Windows Installer." While it isn't
a frequent error, it isn't rare either. What usually works in most cases is
to follow the steps carefully in part one of the MSKB we are referencing.
I would not jump to part 2 which is to reinstall the MSI for Vista.
Here is a way you can tell if your MSI is present. Hit the Windows Key + R
simultaneously. That will bring up your run box, and in it type this:
"msiexec" and do it without the quotes. That will bring up a box that shows
the information on your MSI and copnfirm its presence--it will show your MSI
version present at the very top. For Vista RTM it's Windows Installer V
4.00.6000.0 and then it gives several possible command line switches. I'll
paste what you should see below.
Here's what I'd do now:
1) Check for presence of MSI by typing msiexec into your run box.
2) Repair it by following the steps very carefully in Part One of the MSKB I
linked.
3) If necessary and this does not work, you may have to do part two.
4) If those don't work, try to repair your Office 2003 this way:
5) If running Detect and Repair and the other steps in the above MSKB don't
fix this, then download the WICU (Windows Installer Cleanup Utility ) and
use it highlighting any Office 2003 related entries. It's simple--you
launch it and highlight the entries and then click "OK." That eliminates
registry strings and .dlls that are in the way of an uninstall or future
install.
Download is at the bottom of the MSKB (and this assumes that you fixed the
MSI (Windows Installer) with step one of the MSKB to do that you've been
given).
6) Uninstall Office 2003 from Add/Remove and reinstall it.
