have just upgraded to vista home premium from xp.found my music files but can
not find any other user music files, has update deleted or have they been moved
Click start and type "Control Folders" and hit <enter>. On the view tab, set
the options to see hidden and system folders. Now open Windows Explorer and
look for a windows.old folder on the root of the drive. This will contain
the remnants of your XP installation including your old user files. You can
retrieve your data from here.

hi,when you say the root do you mean the c:/ drive as there is no windows.old
folder to be found.
