Default No Mobility Center

I Installed Vista Ultimate on my Acer Notebook; but I have trouble in using
LCD projector for my presentations. When I look for the Mobility Center, it
was not there.

Hi,

In the control panel, it should be 'windows mobility center'. Or you can
type it into the start box.

Curious, I wonder what it thinks it is. Have you installed all the
supporting drivers from Acer?

Hi, Rick,

As far as I know, I think I've installed all - from Acer site.
I'm not using the battery, is that of any consequence?
Since it (bat) was faulty.

Hi,

Honestly, I don't know. I've not tried that scenario, but it is concievable
that installing without the battery in place could have led to setup not
recognizing the system as a notebook.

Thanks a lot Rick, you're very helpful.
Is anybody else out there who had came across this type of problems.
Is it worth buying a new bat just for this?

Hi,

I just found out the resolution!
INDEED,
VISTA DOES NOT RECOGNIZED A LAPTOP WITHOUT THE BATTERY INSTALLED AS A MOBILE
PC !

Hence, the Mobility Center; which is useful for presentation works; will not
be activated since it is meant for Mobile PCs only.
