Default New Laptop - activation code for the use of vista office

I recently got a new laptop , and it had the new version of vista on .. I
wanted to start using the program straight away , but when i clicked on the
program it said that i had a 60 day free trial. I wasn't given a installtion
disc , because it was already installed on my laptop. The problem is that i
can't find the activation code. I have looked on all te laptop packaging but
i can't find anything that has 25 characters on. Can anyone suggest any ideas
on how to get my activation code??

Vista or Office? sounds like Office (word, outlook, power-point) if that is
the case, you have to buy the activation code, it IS NOT part of Vista or
any other version of Windows.

Apparently you have a trial version of Office which is getting more
common.
You do not get a Product Key unless you purchase Office.
You should not need the key to use the trial of Office 2007 for 60
days.
