Default Moving installation between raids

I have a Vista ultimat x64 installation that is under one raid setup that I
need to backup and move to a new raid setup.
I need the best answer or technote that will make suer that I get a true
backup of all the windows files and a true overwrite/restore of the backup
on the new raid setup. The drives are going on the same motherboard
controller so I wil backup and restore using a USB drive. I use ghost and
r-drive but I don't think either will support the raid driver.
The motherboard is an ASUS crosshair with nVidia 590 chipset.
Using a 4x250GB Raid 5 moving to 4x400GB raid1+0
I have volume license Vista ultimate x64.
thanks
glenn
