Default Mouse AUTOMATICALY activitates icons

My mouse automatically activates command icons on the desktop. What does
it? I have looked ALL OVER the Control Panel, and I have not seen.

Help me, please. I have deleted things I want.

Mike,
Right click anywhere on the desktop and select "Personalize". Then in the
lower left corner, select "ease of access" " Select "Make the mouse easier
to use" Make sure
"Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse" is not checked.

Yet another example of a screwball minority getting something they want when
the dominant majority could careless. Yes, the contraction is intentional.
