Try running SFC. In your search box above Start Button type cmd>Rt. click
it>run as elevated>type sfc /scannow at the cmd prompt. It may replace a
damaged file(s) or .dll(s) that will allow you to work with components of
the Management Console.
thank you for your help, but mmc.exe still doesn't work, i did what you said
and here is what sfc says : "SFC found damaged files but didn't succed to fix
all of them, details can be found in the log CBS.log"
The log is (so) long, and i can't understand it.
Do you think reinstall vista might fix this issue ? (if so will i keep all
the things i've done on this installation ?)
