You can install both of them and dual boot, but you can only use one or the
other at a time. You can't combine features from the two versions.
Another option is to run one inside of a virtual pc.
Vista Ultimate has features from both versions plus additional features
exclusive to the Ultimate version.

The aggregated version is called Vista Ultimate.
Installing two different Windows in the same partition is a disaster for
both.

Oh, I don't know. I have seen folks ask if when they use two video cards
(in SLI) that support 32bit color depth if they can configure them to get
64bit color depth. I have seen others ask if their dual core cpu runs at
twice 2.4Ghz.

scheduled when they shutdown their system at night.

I don't know if you saw it, but not too long ago a poster complained that he
was not able to install Server 2008 on Vista using the Compatibility tab.
