I am new to Vista and am beginning my Vista experience with a few
bumps.
During the installation when Vista is in its restart cycles my install
went to a black screen where it hung for probably 15 minutes or so
before finally starting up. When I logged into Vista for the first time
I was greeted with an error message informing me that Vista had had an
unexpected error.
Everything seems to be running normally thus far, however this is
probably the 7th time I have installed Vista on this machine. Each time
I had issues, this time I let Vista install all of the internet updates
before I tried to install any drivers. Mostly I've had problems with the
nVidia Raid Drivers. Things seem to be going well this time around.
I am selling this computer to a client and would like to know if the
error I had during installation is a sign that things may get hairy in
the future. Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated, especially
if you have good information about the complications surrounding nVidia
Raid Drivers.
