I recently bought a Windows Vista Ultimate for my laptop. Before I get it
installed the monitor on my laptop decided to stop working. I do have it
hooked up do a separate monitor.
Can I install Ultimate on my current laptop, and then when I get my new one
(still looking at several months before purchasing) install it on that one?
Yes. As long as it is a retail copy and didn't come with the laptop (which
it sounds like it didn't). Just make sure the OS on the laptop is erased.
Only one copy per key can be used at one time, rather installed at one time.
