Default Important Update Failure

I have tried a number of times to install the 'Security Update for SQL Server
2005 Service Pack 2 (KB948109)', and it fails with Error Code 7349. I have
looked on the net and MS Support for information on this Error Code, with no
success.

Can anyone out there help me? Is this happening to anyone else?

Mick

Thanks for this - why is it easy when someone else does it?

However, helpful as you were, MS is pretty opaque:

OLE DB provider '%ls' could not set range for table '%ls' because of column
'%ls'.%ls

What does that mean, and how do I fix it??

Thanks again

All you had to do was type in the error code in the Search in any MS
page(upper right corner)

Have you used the windows update newsgroup at
microsoft.public.windowsupdate? Have you used the info in the KB itself at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941203? There is free support at
1-866-PCSAFETY in the US and Canada and the email and phone portal is at
https://support.microsoft.com/oas/de...spx?&prid=7552. The
international support page is at
https://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx.
