Default Error 0x80004005

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. I have the most recent updates
installed. I tried downloading and installing the demo for the new game Call
Of Duty 4. When I try to extract the application, it gives me this error
saying "An unexpected error is preventing the operation." Can someone help me?
