Dual Booting Vista using a second HD?

I'm considering adding a second HD to my Windows XP Pro system and
installing Vista Ultimate on this second disk.

My system does pass the Microsoft upgrade
advisor.

Not sure exactly how to proceed with the dual boot setup and would
appreciate any and all advice.

Run the DVD in your XP Pro desktop, and select Custom install, not upgrade.
Install to your new drive.
