I'm having problems with some 3rd party software and have gone as far as
reinstalling Vista Home Premium.
I did a clean install and have a question:
Does a clean install completely replace the registry? If so does
anything linger from the old registry lingers into the new one?
If you have formatted the HD and then did a NEW install.......nothing should
be left from the old.
If you simply installed over the old installation there will be old stuff
left in the registry
