I recently configured a raid 5 on my nf4 motherboard with the nvidia raid
controller onboard. I am trying to do a clean install of vista and it says
the "hard drive" is unacceptable, I tried to load nvraid.inf and the sata.inf
files, but it wouldn't accept those drivers. Am i doing something wrong?
Have you attempted to install without these drivers? Vista comes with
NF4 drivers and should work with them quite well.
There are some BETA modded NF4 drivers on the nvidia forums to enable
some functionality thats not in the current X64 version of nvidia
drivers.
I ended up installing from within an existing windows vista installation and
it worked. It appears that for some reason the drivers wouldnt' load
properly in the early stages..and without the drivers, vista didnt' recognize
my hard drive as acceptable.
