Activation expired on iMac (Intel) running Vista via Parallels Des
I successfully installed Vista H-P about a month ago (early Dec 07). This
from CD purchased from Newegg.com. Today I am informed that its activation
has expired, and a note in the lower-right corner of the Parallels Desktop
says, "Windows Vista, Build 6000, This copy of Windows is not genuine."
I tried to reactivate it via Internet and by reentering the disk's Code; no
joy.
Right now, I can't even figure out how to uninstall Vista in order to try a
reinstall.
It doesn't make sense to me that I should now have to buy my way back into
what is supposed to be a full-up OS Vista that I already paid for.
