Lifebook Fujitsu Siemens Nixdorf S6420

Excuse me for my bad english.
My notebook is S6420 with Windows XP on it. Mini firewire accept a
external disk connect and read/write on it. If I connect into
minifirewire a Pinnacle MovieBOX DV, Windows Moviemaker start and ask
Save Directory and registration mode. But when must start recording it
stop in wait and It don'go. To unlock the program I must disconnect the
firewire cable.

Can anyone help me?
