Default Booting K8SR from USB device

I have several headless U1 systems based on the K8SR motherboard.
I would like to upgrade the BIOS, but the motherboard manual is
rather terse about booting the system. Can this board boot up
from a USB device and which type of device (ie., cdrom, hard drive,
floppy, other?)
