T43 and hard drive error 2010 !

Can somebody help me ...
Just bought Seagate st910021a PATA 7200rpm ! When starting windows error
2010 keeps buging me !
I tried with lenovo HDD update utility to update but it says update not
needed and thats strange cause my hard drive firmware is 3.02 and a new one
on lenovo firmware utility is 3.07.
Does anyone know is there another disk utility or something else so i can
get rid of this stupid message ERROR 2010

According to reports, downgrading the BIOS to v.1.2 will allow most HDs
to work fine without the 2010 error.

ill try to downgrade bios cause i tried everything else!
and do i have to downgrade bios of Embedded Controller Program ?

FIXED IT !!!!
I menaged to make it work !
I downgraded my bios to v1.18 and IBM ThinkPad Embedded Controller to
v1.22... only that combination of it worked ! Tried all versions of bios and
this is only 1 combination that skipped 2010 error!
My model is thinkpad T43 2668-CTO ...
Hope this helps someone else...
