I have a Thinkpad T40 and went to Lenovo to check for BIOS updates. It
is running on the original BIOS. The instructions say that the newer
BIOS updates are only supported with the Embedded Controller Program v
3.x
I have found the BIOS updates, but looking around I don't see any
downloads or updates for the Embedded Controller Program.
It does say, if you have to do both, do the BIOS first, then the Controller.
Can anyone help explain this to me, please?
Many thanks,
Ken

I agree with Tony. TVSU does the job very well and saves you the hassle of
what to update in which order...
