Sun Blade 1500 Red/Silver motherboard

Hello

Does anyone know if there are any major differences between the
motherboard in the Sun Blade 1500 Red vs Silver? According to the
systems handbook, they appear visually identical with the only
difference being a different CPU Speed jumper setting. However, the
Silver is spec'ed at being able to take 4x2048MB DIMMs whereas the Red
is listed as 4x1024MB.

The reason I ask is because I just picked up a 1500 Red and would like
to upgrade the CPU if possible. Does anyone know of any differences
between the two boards? Thanks
