Default Network Attached storage

Does anyone know if there are any network attached storage devices on
the market that use flash memory instead of hard drives? I currently
have a Toshiba notebook which uses flash memory and I am sold on this
form of memory.

Well, if money is not an issue, you can get a NAS without disk
and an industrial SATA Flash drive. THis should work fine, but
you will loose significant performance compared to direcly
attacjed flash.

Aone (of many examples) of a NAS without disks included is the
Netgear SC101T Storage Center Turbo (no endorsment, just to give you
an idea what to look for). Flash based SATA drives are available,
e.g., here:

The prices (e.g. $4,760.00 USD 128GB) are pretty standard.
Add a standard 3.5" disk mounting kit and you can mount these
drives in place of a standard 3.5" SATA HDD in a NAS intended
for user supplied drives.
