Default Hitachi 7K100 7200 RPM w/ IBM Thinkpad (R51)?

Hi,
I'm considering upgrading my IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad R51 w/ a Hitachi
7K100 7200 RPM 80GB hard drive. Has anyone used this drive on the R51
or a similar machine? How are these drives in general?

I didnt intend to imply that.

There isnt a lot in it in my opinion, so it comes down to price and warranty.
