Default Best app for tape retrieval??

Hi - I have a load of old backup tapes that I need to get the data
from as quick and easily as possible. What's the best software for
this? Just plain and simple data retrieval?? I have a good budget I
can use if needed.

Also I think one or two tapes might be corrupt too, so if it could
handle then that would be great!

Thanks

Paul

Depends very much on the tapes, the drive and the data format. There
is no general solution.

Typically you cannot handle that in software.

Easiest solution is to give the task to some data recovery outfit.
Many also do copying of non-corrupt older media to new media for
a fee.
