Greetings - -

Can serial SCSI be converted to run parallel SCSI devices like a tape
drive?

I've never seen a SAS to SCSI converter, although they may exist. The
easiest route is to just use a SCSI card for your tape drive. Backups are
sort of important, and maybe not the best place for daisy chained mess.
