Need BIOS for Adaptec 3944

May not be ctrl-A with custom BIOS. Try a few alternatives - ctrl-E for
EMC?

Not necessarily, no. The "Press Ctrl-X for SCSISelect" message can be
suppressed in the BIOS config options.
