A scsi card was installed without the drivers so the drive can't boot
thealready installed os- xp. Is there any way to install the drivers
if the machine was first booted to dos for the scsi driver install and
then to xp? Thanks.

My first thought is that any motherboard you would be running WindowsXP
on would probably have an option to boot from a SCSI drive. It should
be there if you go into setup and look at the boot options. You won't be
able to boot from the SCSI drive unless you enable that. My next
thought is that you should be able to install SCSI drivers under XP
quite easily if XP hasn't already done that for you.
Open up Computer Management and then look at Storage->Disk Mangement.
Click on each disk and right click to open it's properties.

I think the OP is stating the original scsi card was replaced with
another adapter and now the computer cannot boot, hence the desire to
install drivers for the card via booting into dos first and loading
the drivers for the card from the dos prompt.

Don't know.
Are you going to repeat that utterly silly question again for the OP?
Do you think the OP is such a helpless moron that he can't speak for
himself and you should speak up for him instead?
