This is mostly a platform issue, but you left out a heck of a lot of
information that might help you get a rational answer.
Like, are you going to plug it into an ISA slot, or PCI slot, or ?
Making an assumption it's a PCI card and you have an available slot, you
should find the user manual for your motherboard and see what the interrupt
routing looks like, as that will likely dictate your options wrt interrupt
usage by the card. You may find you need to move other cards around to end up
with a satisfactory configuration, and may need to go into the motherboard's
bios/cmos setup utility to enable and/or steer interrupts as desired.
Once you get by that physical problem, you should install the driver set
before you install the card...

You cannot install a 'bare' SCSI drive. You need to install a SCSI
*controller* card. The *controller* card gets a bus address and IRQ.
*Some* motherboards have on-board SCSI controllers, but except for some
server motherboards, this is rather uncommon for x86 flavor
motherboards (motherboards meant for Intel or AMD processors). To get a
partitular IRQ then depends on the controller card and the motherboard
BIOS. You generally don't assign IRQs to PCI cards. Older ISA cards
have jumpers. Some ISA cards have a configuration BIOS that can be
used to set things like IRQs.

You are too dumb to use SCSI. You shouldn't even be playing with ISA cards.

Platform, as in ....

Rational huh.

Oh, why is that.

Which would be what.

Presumably you mean 'disable'.

By doing what.

What problem is that.
