Default Convert LVD/SE to DIFF

I'm working on a project where I need to attach old DLT tape drives to
HP blade servers for data conversions. I need to be able to read the
data off the tape drives and I was hoping to have something reliable,
and pretty straightforward since this is going to be a regular ongoing
process for a while.

There aren't available SCSI ports on the blades, so I was hoping to
use a bridge to access the data via the Fibre Channel. I have a Dell
Powervault 35F SCSI to fibre bridge, but it only does Diff SCSI, and
the tape drives I need to connect are all LVD/SE.

Does anyone make a decent SCSI converter that will let me attach the
old tape drives to the bridge? Is there an inexpensive, but reliable
SCSI to Fibre Bridge that can handle multiple SCSI formats?

Thanks in advance

Dan

Paralan makes such converters:
http://www.paralan.com/converters.html

The MH19 is designated for connecting recent tape drives to a HVD bus:
http://www.paralan.com/mh19.html

Extend has some prices for Paralan equipment:
http://www.extend.de/cgi-local/katalog/1FC0.htm
The MH19 is listed with EUR 511. IMHO not really expensive for such a
special part.

Should be hard to find, "multiple format" in general means LVD and SE.
HVD equipment is normally HVD only.
