When I removed a failed SCSI drive and replaced it I recieve the
message:
Logical Disk Manager could not update the boot file for any boot
partitions ont he target disk. Verify your arc path listing in file
boot.ini or through the bootcfg.exe utility.
In my reading it seems this has to do with lines in the boot.ini file.
However my boot.ini I think looks right. Can anyone tell me if it is
right below. I think the important thing to look at is the rdisk(1)
meaning the second disk in my system, which is scsi id6.
I asume that If when the system boots I choose this drive everything
will boot up properly or if on a reboot the first drive fails the
second drive will automatically be choosen and boot up ok.
Secondly Im not sure what /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptOut mean or
whether they should be added to the settings for the second disk.
Thanks

which disk did you replace, and did you ever get far enough to rebuild the
mirror yet?

The disk I replaced was the second disk eg disk 1 on SCSI. SCSI ID 6.
Yes accept for the error the disk rebuilt nicely and "Seems to be
healthy".
The boot.ini that I have displayed in the original post is the
finished boot.ini after the rebuild. (not sure if Win2003 changes it,
my reading seems to say that it does NOT).
