Default 39320A says it is a 29320ALP

I checked another RAID card I have. It says 'Adaptec 39320A', near
the bracket but, when I did Ctrl-A to look at the setup, it said the
card was a '29320ALP'. Is that an error in the BIOS on the card?

Like it doesn't say anywhere else what it is.

Pity there is no low profile version of the 39320.

Sincerely, Thanks for the definition. It still does not clear up why
the setup says one thing and, the bios says another.

The only place I found, that it says what the card is, ON THE CARD, is
next to the bracket.

That seems to subtle for a PITA like Folkert.

Likely it is simply the same board with different brackets. And it is
easy to change the BIOS string to match the current configuration.

Yes, like that is all what matters, like it doesn't say anywhere else what
it is.
There is always a paper label on the card (usually on the SCSI chip)
which details the model number and the OEM details.

If it doesn't, then there's your clue.

Nope, you did, as that is the card the troll has (or pretends to have).
Very little point in explaining LP in just some announcement string of
(replaceable) firmware from a card that it doesn't have.

> not me or the original poster.

Poster troll says he has that card, little boy. Said it twice: in the
body and in the subject line. Repeated it still in a followup post.
Even some early school dropout like yourself should be able to grasp that.
Hasn't said it made a mistake yet.
Obviously isn't a mistake or else it would be clearly fussing over nothing.
(Not to say that that couldn't be a troll subject too).

Maybe you can tell us more about the significance of LP
in an announcement string of firmware from a card that
the troll doesn't have, if that is all you wanted to say, boy.

Or could it just be that you were just babble-sick, as always.

Talking to the mirror again, boy?
